Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone! We hope it is filled with happiness and blessings abound. May those who are traveling, be safe in their journeys and not have to spend to much time at the airports if that be the mode of transportation.

well
The Musleh's were here and gone before we knew it. Their short stay was just that too short. If you'd like to see some of the highlights check out their blog, a link is on the right hand side.
And now in a week Ben and I will be going to visit the Musleh's, I can't wait. I made Amelia's trick or treat bag, so it will better go with her fairy costume, and then still be able to use it later. I also was asked by Susan, if I was willing to try my hand at making baby legs or leggings for Amelia, which I said I would. I think for my first try I did rather well. I even made a pair for her costume if Susan didn't find something that would work or if she did in case it's colder then we thought. We are also a delivery service this trip as mom has things for the Musleh's that she didn't trust with the USPS, Ben and I like being a delivery service in that respect.
Ben and I have also gotten to picking up a couple bottles of wine when we travel. So we shall see what we can get from this trip. I was able to find some recipes from St. James Winery, for a Blackberry Wine Cake, which was oh so good (which tonight I'm trying it with a cherry wine from Door County) and a pumpkin pie which needs a little tweaking, (so my taste tasters have said and I agree...by the way if you'd like to be on the list of taste tasters just let me know. Right now they are: Ben, Mom, Grandma, Mary D and Shorty).
Seeing as how I'm talking about recipes, I'm also looking for recipes that are easy to convert to dairy free so that Amelia can enjoy things also. I was glad to find that the cut out cookie recipe that my siblings and I enjoyed when we were kids was one that I could convert so that Amelia too could enjoy our family tradition of cut outs

Couple of more weeks
Just a couple of more weeks and the Musleh's will be in town. I'm so excited, I haven't seen them since Amelia's birthday in April. It will be fun to see how Amelia acts with Harrison now that's she older and walking better then the last time. It will also be interesting to see how she does with Corbin. But all 3 together for the first time! And then the 3 will be together again at Christmas time and hopefully Derek can make it for at Great Grandma's on Christmas day.

Corbin and Mazlynn
It's hard to believe that both Corbin and Mazy are a month old already. Both of them decided to come into the world earlier then planned. But our lives are brighter because of it. (please not that both of these pictures are from a couple of days after they were born, for more up to date photos of Corbin visit Shanna's blog and for more up to date photos of Mazy visit either Travis or Kristi's facebook pages)

Weekend vacation
So Ben and I are back from our long weekend in MO visiting Ben's Aunt Cheryl. It was a good visit and a great get a way. It was different with Wally not being there, but I'm glad he's not suffering any more. He held on longer then the doctors thought...always knew he was a fighter.
While there Ben and I took in the Old Time Music Ozark Heritage Festival-www.oldtimemusic.org- for us some of the highlights were the mule jumping competition, the jigging, and the quilt show

Amelia's 1st B-day
Amelia's 1st birthday was really over a month ago, but I was waiting to give Susan and Joe the honor of posting the first ones, so here are a few from our trip there, if not really from the birthday party
Molli
For those who knew Ben and I were going to be getting a dog Molli, she's an Australian Shepard, but with the complications of Joshua, our one cat, and Molli's true age (we thought she was 6 she's really 10), both Ben and I and Debbie ( the current owner of Molli) decided it was best at this time to keep the things the way they are, but here's some pictures from our trial weekend.

A picture of the newest Weyenberg, Kristi's baby shower was yesterday and they were passing the ultrasound pictures around, so I snapped one with my camera.

Happy Valentine's Day
Or as a friend of mine once called it Single's Awareness Day. Hope you all had a good day and enjoyed it with the ones you love

Just a note...
Nothing overly new on the Weyenberg home front. On Tuesday my mom and I will be recognized along with others at the Community Blood Center's banquet. Mom is being recognized for donating 15 gallons of blood. Mom is O-, she's on the preemie pack. So she gives to the little babies. I donate palates and plasma I'm not sure what mark I'm at but I think it's 15 also. But that's about the only thing new here, what's new in your part of the world?
