We were visiting family for Halloween, so we did some tricks or treating in a subdivision.

Zoo Boo

Yesterday we went to the Zoo BOO at the N.E.W. zoo.  My parents came with us.  We had a great time.  There's 12 different stations that had out candy.  The adults were encouraged to dress up.  I was a half marathon finisher.  Abby was a farmer because it was a warmer costume than her princess/prom queen she would be for Halloween and Theo was a construction worker.

...

So my trying to stay up to date didn't work.  I'll blame it on the fact that we were having problems with the computer, got it fixed and are back to having problems....so annoying.  Theo and Abby are growing so fast.  A month ago Abby turned 1! Theo is 3, he is so talkative, he loves trains and construction, which is perfect that he gets to see them everytime he's at the sitters because there's is a lot of work going on at the park across the street.  Abby is crawling all over the place and starting to furniture walk.  She's a great eater at the moment.  We are still working on getting Theo to eat more healthy.  But it's a work in progress!

Update and hopes to stay updated....

So life has been interesting to say the least.  I have a much greater respect for single parents.  I am so grateful for my mom for watching the kids while Ben and I work.  I can't imagine figuring it out without family so close.  Ben works nights so he's not home that much when the kids and I are.  But we do manage to get in some adventures.  Like last weekend was the N.E.W. zoo and here are some pictures from that (more on travel blog) .  But we are currently potty training Theo, who turned 32 months today, and introducing solids to Abby, who turned 8 months a week ago.  I think in some ways Theo is training us.  I mean if he know every couple of hours he's going to be going on the potty, why not hold it till than.  His other thing is not wanting to go to bed right away, he fights it for about a half hour to a hour.  I will prevail and get him down when I want him down, I hope.

I'll try to update more often, though I make no promises.
